Who will be the delegates?
Delegates are typically clients, architects, engineers, surveyors, constructors, manufacturers, designers, climate change/sustainability specialists, project managers from both the public and private sector.
Do I need to book separately for the Networking/BBQ (Wednesday 10 July) and the Study Day (Thursday 11 July) if I wish to attend both?

I have an accessibility question/requirement, who do I contact?

What are the different transport options to the University?

Can I park at the University?
Yes, you will be emailed a permit closer to the event date that you will need to print and display in your car windscreen. It will cover all days

Where is the Networking/BBQ event being held at the University and what are the timings?
Park House - Meadow Suite on Whitenights Campus, 19:00 to 24:00, with food from 20:00 (Wednesday evening 10 July). Note: Park House is just a few minutes walk from the Palmer Building. Refer to the University Delegate Information Pack for Palmer building. HERE
What food and drinks will be available at the BBQ/Networking event?
There is an even split between meat and planted based burgers/sausages along with salad. Any different dietary needs, please make clear when booking online.
There will be a range of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks available. These are complementary until the bar tab is used up!
Please note that the University is CASHLESS so make sure you have a card to pay once the tab runs out or for anything else during your stay.
Is there a dress code for the Networking/BBQ event?
Smart casual please.
Where is the Study Day event being held at the University and what are the timings?
Whitenights Campus in the Palmer Building (first floor) Open from 8:30 for networking and refreshments, with the event starting prompt at 9:00 . Refer to the University Delegate Information Pack for Palmer building for map HERE
Is there a programme for the day?
Yes, you can find the programme on our website here
What is the format of the day?
All delegates attend, the four main stage presentations and the roundtable event. In between those, there are three break out sessions where you can choose between two different subjects.
Is there a limit on numbers for each breakout session?
Yes. You will be able to book them on the day. It is on a first come first served basis.
Will there be exhibitor stands?
Yes. We have a number of exhibition stands that we encourage you to visit during the breaks.
What food and drinks will be available at the Study Day event?
It will be a mix of sandwiches with a greater emphasis on vegan/vegetarian options with some meat and different drinks. Food and drink is included in your ticket price. Note if you wish to purchase other food and drink on the campus the University is CASHLESS
Any different dietary needs, please make clear when booking online. We must have a minimum of two weeks notice before the event
How can I help SPACES promote this event?
We are using social media to promote the event but especially our Linkedin page. If you can share our posts it helps enormously to publicise the study day.

Will the presentations be available for download?
Unless the presenter indicates otherwise, presentations will be available for download from the SPACES website. A link will be given on the day.

I cannot find a FAQ for my question, who do I contact?
If you cannot find the answer in the FAQ’s or the University Delegate Pack for Palmer Building (LINK) please email, thespacesevents@gmail.com with the email subject QUESTION. This can then be answered and added to our FAQ’s
